I'm no red-blooded American

A friend sent me a link to a quiz today where you find out whether you are a red-blooded American that can pass a citizenship test. It's called The Independence Day Quiz (although we are a couple of months away from July 4).

I scored 20 out of 30 points. I won't be getting my citizenship anytime soon, but I dare you all you take the quiz and post your results as a comment to this blog entry!

I scored a 20. Hmmm. I guess I should have paid more attention in history class.

The friend who sent the quiz to me said she scored 20 as well. Her husband scored 23.

I scored 20 which might be quite all right for a Swede... But I should have known the Congress declares war, that there are 13 stripes in the flag (of course, as there were 13 states in the beginning!) and that Grant was President during the Civil War. And I was about to tick the box for no official language.

(Yes, I hate to loose in competitions.)

I only scored 9!! :S
But I´m a swede, I don´t live in the USA and I never will so I think I´m excused. Right?! :)

Of course, we are all excused - at least us Swedes. If any of us were to take the real citizenship test, I am sure we would learn what we needed to know and score a perfect 30!
