What is this flower?

Found this next to a few of the old graves at the cemetery.
It looks planted, though. Does anyone know what it could be?

I knew I've seen it, but it took some time to figure it out... It is a Yucca filamentosa: http://www.biopix.dk/Species.asp?Language=sv&Searchtext=Yucca%20filamentosa&Category=Planter

I planted one last year but haven't seen it flower yet.

Yes, I believe that you're right. The plant is also called "Adam's Neede" and is a very tolerant evergreen, native to the Southeastern United States.
