A terrible blogger

Ever since I went back to work last week, I've been a terrible blogger. I was so proud of myself in July, when I managed to post something almost every day. That probably won't happen again, even though it's my goal.

Today (Thursday) I had the day off from work and thought "Well, I'll FINALLY get some of that blogging going again!"

So what did I do? I went to a used bookstore, then met up with some friends for drinks. By the time I got home, chores were waiting and by the time I got done with them (with some help from the husband as soon as he got home), I was too tired to do anything.

Until now... a few hours later... when I got a second wind. Of course, I am still too tired to write about anything important. So I think this will be it for tonight. In conclusion, I am feeling a lot better. Stomach is a little sore at times, but energy levels are higher and most of the time I forget I'm supposed to feel anything but normal.

Man måste pausa lite ibland också, alla förstår detta.

Well, there is still a "real" life, so don't worry about daily blogging...

True, there's a real life, but the weird thing is... when you live that life, there are tons of good things to blog about, and no time to do it. Then you relax and have all the time in the world to write, but there's really nothing to write about...

I've been there. When I first started my blog four years ago I had a perfect schedule. New Updates every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, with a funny clip or something posted over the weekend. Now, four years later, I consider it a good week if I update twice. It's good to take time off from blogging though because once you start to think of it as a chore then it ruins it.

Thanks, Walt. I also try not to think of it as a chore, but it is hard not to...

I love to look at other people's blogs, and when they are not updated, I find myself getting very annoyed... even not going back there for a long time as well and eventually forgetting about them. I don't want that to happen to my blog.
